"Once again, Fox News is showing just how racist they really are. The hosts of Fox and Friends decided that they had a “right to know” if a black woman- the first black woman to be named Assistant Chief of Police in Miami, no less- was an America-hating Muslim. Now, why, you might ask, would they think this? Well, they say that it is because she followed military protocol and stood at attention, facing the flag, instead of putting her right hand over her heart during the Pledge of Allegiance.
Now, having been in ROTC programs myself, I can attest to the fact that this woman did nothing wrong. When in uniform, you do not put your hand over your heart. You stand at attention."
