While he gleefully wants to send young people to die in the Middle East, Huckabee himself attended college in his youth before quitting seminary school to take a job in the manipulative industry known as Christian broadcasting. Huckabee took this job when he was 21-years-old in 1976. That means he was of age to enlist in the military in 1973 at a time when the Vietnam War was still raging on. But Huckabee chose to go to college rather than fight for his country. He would deny young people the same choice today, which should drive young people to the polls in 2016 to soundly defeat the Republican Party. After all, Huckabee is hardly the only GOP candidate who wants to wage perpetual warfare in the Middle East. And young voters have the power to do this. 67 percent of young people voted for President Obama in 2012, which was double the percentage Mitt Romney received. Mike Huckabee is a coward, not because he chose college over the military, but because he wants to force young people to do what he refused to do when he was young. Politicians have no right to be so gung-ho about war and sending kids to die when they themselves have never served."
